  6. Any personal data that the educational organisation to which the User belongs communicates to Leemons in the context of providing services as a learning platform.
4. Why LEEMONS is Authorized to Process Your Data

LEEMONS' legal basis for processing User data through this Platform is: 

  1. Application of pre-contractual measures or contract execution: the legal basis for processing User contact data is when the User fills out the web form or contacts Leemons to request information about its Services and to formalize the contract between the User and Leemons. For contract formalization, only the personal data (name, surname, ID, and job position) of the signatory representing the contracting educational organization or the professional contracting the services as a freelancer will be processed, along with payment data when paid by direct debit. 
  2. User consent is the legal basis for processing user data freely provided on the website and, when expressly consented, to send commercial communications. 
  3. Processing agreement between Leemons and the educational organization to which the User belongs: Leemons is authorized to process personal data that Users must provide for the Platform's operation based on the commission requested by the educational organization, as the data controller. The educational organization must confirm its obligation to comply with privacy regulations and have a sufficient legal basis for processing personal data required for the performance of the functions entrusted to Leemons.

LEEMONS takes the protection of your privacy and personal data very seriously. Therefore, your personal data is securely stored and processed with the utmost care in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (the "General Data Protection Regulation" or "GDPR"). This Privacy Policy regulates access and use of the service provided by LEEMONS to Users interested in the services and content hosted on the Platform.   4. If consent is given, receive commercial communications or information about LEEMONS' products and services via mail, phone, email, SMS/MMS, or other equivalent electronic communication methods.
6. Accuracy of User-Provided Data

The User guarantees the accuracy of the personal data provided and agrees to communicate any changes to LEEMONS. The User will be responsible for the accuracy of the provided data, and LEEMONS reserves the right to exclude any User who has provided false information, without prejudice to other legal actions. It is recommended that Users protect their data diligently using appropriate security tools. LEEMONS will not be responsible for any theft, illegal modification, or loss of data.

Any changes or updates to the data must be communicated to LEEMONS through the means specified in this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

The protection of User privacy and personal data is crucial for LEEMONS. Therefore, LEEMONS makes every effort to prevent the inappropriate use of User data. Only authorized personnel have access to User data. User personal data will be kept as long as it remains in LEEMONS' database for the processing purposes for which it was provided, provided that the User has not revoked their consent, requested the deletion of their account, or the erasure of specific personal data from the Platform. Subsequently, if necessary, LEEMONS will keep the information blocked for legally established periods.

Without prejudice to any other administrative remedy or judicial action, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the Member State where they have their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement if they believe that the processing of their personal data does not comply with the regulations or if they are dissatisfied with the exercise of their rights. The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been lodged will inform the complainant about the progress and outcome of the complaint.

In the context of the purposes outlined in point 5 of this Privacy Policy, Leemons may communicate data to the following categories of recipients:

  • Platform for online identification and signature management. Only the personal data necessary for the signing of contracts necessary for the provision of Leemons' services will be shared.
  • Platform for online conflict and incident resolution management. Only the necessary data for the processing and resolution of the affected Platform user's incident will be shared.
  • CRM Platform, with which only the necessary data for the management of Leemons' service contracting by the educational organization will be shared.
