LEEMONs ACADEMY

Content creator

Leemons has its own document creation tool in HTML 5 format that, when connected to the library, allows you to design content quickly and easily.

A list of irregular verbs, the steps to carry out an experiment, a reflection on Sense and Sensibility, some calculus exercises, second degree equations, a sales manual... let's see how to create them without leaving the platform.

Step by Step

New Document

To create a new document, simply click on the New Document option in the corresponding section of the library or click on the New button in the upper left corner and choose "Document" from the drop-down menu.

Type the content

Leemons will open a new blank file where you can start writing and formatting your content.

On the side you will find an outline with the first headline levels of your document. This will be displayed on the item detail tab in the library.

Add multimedia assets

In the formatting bar you will find access to include: mathematical formulas and links.

You can also insert multimedia resources that will directly open the library to select them or download them to the Leemons cloud before inserting them.

Working with images

When you insert an image into your document you can format it to place it where you want it.

Resource properties

In the case of resources such as bookmarks or PDF files, you can choose whether to display them with a player for direct consumption or present them as a link card that will open in another tab when students view the document.

Document options

In the next step, the system asks for detailed information about the document, so that it can be easily located in the library (description, subject, labeling). It will also be possible to add a cover page to the file, as in other resources.

At the end press the Finish button and choose the option "Publish" or "Publish and assign" if, in the same step, you want to send it to a group of students so that they can read the document.

Detail of document

By clicking on a document card in the library, all users who have access to it can see extended information, such as the outline of the content.

The button panel on the top bar allows editing, sharing, duplicating and deleting the document.

Student view

When students are assigned a document to read, their view will display the content as the teacher has designed it. The outline bar will serve as a navigation panel between the contents.

When finished, students can click the "Mark as read" button which will inform the teacher and store the data in the system.
